New features expected for 2024

As in previous occasions, the Congress LTF 2024 will be held on-site in Dijon. This allows for face-to-face exchanges and workshops that would be less constructive with a virtual event. However, several new features will be introduced for the 2024 congress.

The Congress LTF 2024 will be fully bilingual in French and English, from conferences to workshops. This will enable researchers, manufacturers, veterinarians, and nutritionists from all over the world to take part in the event. In November 2024, Dijon will not only be the city of gastronomy and wine, it will also be the capital of equine nutrition!

A poster session on the theme of “starch and sugars in horse nutrition” will be organized so that new knowledge produced around the world can be presented to the audience by the authors. This will allow researchers and R&D teams to share their innovative results.

Finally, while past editions were held over two days, the Congress LTF 2024 will be held over 3 complementary days. On the first day, practical and clinical workshops will be staged in Lab To Field’s research center to present some approaches to evaluate and monitor horse health, behavior, or performance. The second day will be devoted to lectures by international researchers, who will speak on their areas of expertise. The third day will focus on technical workshops, organized in labs and research centers specialized in feed.
